The primary role of Sr. Finance Manager is to provide extensive business partnering and financial support to the Cloud Insight and Spot team. You will oversee financial planning, forecasting, management reporting and decision support for the Technology leadership teams. This is a cross functional role, where you will partner with multiple functions including Engineering, Product teams, GTM, Accounting and Corporate Finance, legal and procurement to deliver accurate financial forecasting, actionable insights and meaningful updates. Analytical thinking, crisp communication, effective business partnering and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment are key to success in this role. Job Requirements Business Partnership:
o Partner cross functionally to deliver world-class business partnership with R&D leaders to drive data driven decisions such as headcount allocation and product portfolio prioritization. o Collaborate with business partners to forecast activity, update departmental budgets, and maintain overall cost control of the organizations you support. o Develop strong relationships with business partners by understanding organizational priorities, and drive operational initiatives to support those priorities. Financial Planning & Forecasting:
o Maintain Product Contribution activities and support New Product Introduction (NPI) process o Support annual financial planning cycle; ensure budget alignment with strategic roadmap and profitability targets. o Drive monthly/quarterly financial forecast cycle, ensuring accurate projections, appropriate level of reporting, variance analysis and pro-active communication. o Review financials related to close activities (end-of period accruals, reclass entries) o Propose business operational improvements to enhance financial visibility, control and planning effectiveness. o Drive accurate cloud spend forecasting and tracking against budget o Support ad-hoc spend optimization requests and help hold business teams accountable to spend commitments Reporting & Analytics:
o Assist with the reporting of financial results to internal and external audiences. o Support Monthly and Quarterly business review process o Use financial models to automate and scale current processes. o Drive cross functional efforts to continuously improve analytics, data quality and self-service reporting. o Liaise with Corporate Accounting to ensure correct accounting treatment of transactional activities. Education Your qualifications, your influence To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills:
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA or CPA preferred) o 10
years related FP&A/Strategic Finance experience in high growth, preferably in SaaS/Subscription environment o Passionate, accountable, self-motivated and ability to work independently, with general direction and guidance o Strong organizational, communication, and influencing skills o High proficiency with analytics, Power point, financial model building o Experience in the application of accounting principles to periodic financial reporting, planning and forecasting o Strong attention to detail and accuracy o Willingness to learn adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
